This album finds the violinist bringing passion and character to a diverse menu of jazz sounds: traditional, Latin and R&B/quiet storm (also notable, the project joins Carter with producer legend Arif Mardin on several cuts). On her 2nd release, the classically-trained player offers a more personal effort - one that reflects her broad range and foundation as a music-obsessed child of the '70s.
