The idea for this project came out of the recording of Hank Williams, Jr..'s previous album while Hank Jr.. was in the studio with his son, Hank Williams III. This release is a collection of original Hank Williams, Sr. classics recorded with a new digital process that allows the 3 Hanks to sing together with seamless perfection. What makes this album great, though, is the rawness and energy that permeates each of the tracks. Highlights include "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," "Long Gone Lonesome Blues" and "Honky Tonk Blues."
