The 1st volume of Curb's Cool Country Hits turned out to be one of the best compilation albums released in '96. Sales were strong in traditional country markets and remain consistent nearly a year after the release date. Volume 2, featuring stars including LeAnn Rimes ("Blue Moon of Kentucky"), Lyle Lovett ("She's No Lady"), Sawyer Brown ("Some Girls Do"), Hank Williams, Jr.. ("Kawliga") and Wynonna ("I Saw the Light"), could do even better. Additional artists include Junior Brown, Hal Ketchum, Boy Howdy and others.
