In 1954 Christy released a 10\" LP entitled \"Something Cool\" which became instrumental in launching the cool vocal movement of the 1950s. Presented here is a 1956 session recorded in Los Angeles with June fronting the big band of Les Brown \u0026amp; His Band of Renown. Some of the musicians included are Bobby Styles (trumpet), Ray Sims (trombone), Clyde \"Stumpy\" Brown (bass trombone), Billy Usselton (tenor sax), Vernon Polk (guitar) and Lloyd Morales (drums).
