Formed in Los Angeles at the start of the 80s, Wasted Youth played fast, aggressive hardcore punk in the vein of Black Flag, Circle Jerks and Gang Green, characterized by short, fast songs railing against the government, the system and authority in general. This release features exclusive liner notes from respected journalist Mark Freebase who conducted an interview with Dave Kushner especially for this project. Around the release of 'Black Daze', as Guns N' Roses exploded with 'Appetite for Destruction', several iconic photos of Slash were taken wearing a Wasted Youth T shirt.
