In 2009, Spin magazine declared Lutefisk to be one of "The 100 Greatest Bands You've (probably) Never Heard Of". Burnet's first solo outing, "Cancel My Disappointment", is a collection of nine songs brimming with melody, more folk-pop than punk-rock, with jangling guitars and memorable melodies soaring against a backdrop of strings, keys, horns and drums. Comparisons have been made to Bowie, Grandaddy, Elliot Smith and even ELO, but on this release Dallas Don creates a sound all his own.

Artist: Dallas Don Burnet

Label: Little Record Company

Format: CD

Format detail: Jewel Case

Release date: 2012-04-03
