Josh Ritter The Beast In Its Tracks is Ritter's first studio album in almost three years. The Beast In Its Tracks may well be remembered as Ritter's divorce record, as it was written and recorded in the wake of his 18-month marriage suddenly dissolving. The CD, LP, & digital release will be simultaneous, but there is also a DELUXE VINYL version. The DELUXE LP is limited to 1000 units worldwide, features a bonus 7" with two unreleased tracks, and is printed on 180 gram CLEAR vinyl! The bonus tracks will only be available in the deluxe vinyl! Plus, it will be hand-numbered (on a special sticker). Both the regular LP and the deluxe will include the full album on CD, in a color cardboard sleeve.
