John Luther Adams' Canticles of the Sky [Import Vinyl]

Oliver Coates presents his interpretation of John Luther Adam's Canticles of the Sky. A composition normally for 16, 32 or 48 cellists surrounding an audience, Coates conducted 32 cellists for the UK premiere in Sheffield. Inspired by the performance, Coates recorded himself playing 16 parts, overlaid for this recording and limited vinyl release.
