En el escenario y en su segundo lanzamiento, Here It Comes, Heavy MakeUp—CJ Camerieri (trompetista de yMusic, CARM), Edie Brickell y Trever Hagen (productor, músico electrónico y colega trompetista)—improvisan canciones completas, mezclando elementos de pop, folk, electrónica, rock, jazz, música de cámara y vanguardia en joyas de dos y tres minutos que son a la vez dignas de la radio y experimentales.
Edie Brickell no necesita presentación. Liderando la banda New Bohemians, debutó en 1988 con el álbum emblemático Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, que obtuvo doble platino gracias al éxito que marcó una época y que llegó al Top 10, “What I Am”.
