Carter Burwell – Carol (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) [CD]

Description

Todd Haynes" 2015 romantic drama film Carol is the story of a forbidden affair between an aspiring photographer and older woman going through a divorce, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. The soundtrack contains songs from the film, including "Easy Living" by Billie Holiday, which is prominent in the film as Carol receives the record as a gift and plays it multiple times. Filling out the rest of the soundtrack is Carter Burwell's intimate, Academy Award-nominated score, reflecting the film's 1950s setting.
