Foo Fighters is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band Foo Fighters, released on July 4, 1995, by Capitol Records through Dave Grohl's label Roswell. Grohl wrote and recorded the entire album himself - with the exception of a guest guitar spot by Greg Dulli - with the assistance of producer Barrett Jones at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, Washington, in 1994. Grohl claimed he recorded the album just for fun, describing it as a cathartic experience to recover from the death of his Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain.

The Foo Fighters’ debut self-titled album was released in 1995, and this special, extremely limited 2LP expanded edition comes on mint green vinyl — a nod to the Footos sweets featured in the video for Big Me.

This is one of their biggest albums, having received Platinum certifications in multiple territories and a Grammy nomination.

It features key tracks such as Big Me, This Is a Call, and I’ll Stick Around, while the six bonus tracks on LP2 include fan favourite Winnebago and live versions of For All the Cows and Wattershed, recorded at Reading Festival 1995.
