Ghost Of The West [CD]

Spindrift makes you feel like you've been granted access to the distant memories of a two-bit-saloon harlot as she watches her nameless lover ride†off into the sunset. Los Angeles psychedelic spaghetti-western rock band Sprindrift are set to release their new album Ghost Of The West a homage†to everything Western. The record was inspired by the groups 2012 Ghost Town Tour a five week, self guided tour through more than 20 of†Americas western ghost towns. Spindrift made field recordings and performed live, putting their spin on classic, Golden Era cowboy songs of the†old, including Cool Water (1936), Buffalo Dream (1953), Gunfighter (1962) mixed in with their own originals.
