Zorn and Laswell have been friends and musical compatriots since they first met in 1978, and have been responsible for some of the most intense and memorable music in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Recorded in early 2021, near the end of the year‚Äôs pandemic lockdown, it marks the first time Zorn had touched the saxophone in over fifteen months. Laswell had spent most of the year locked in his apartment. Something special was happening that day‚Äîand after the session Laswell felt rejuvenated‚Äîas if all the toxins and poisons had left his body. Soulful and essential, The Cleansing is an historic meeting‚Äîand the first recorded duo project by these two Downtown magicians.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate shipping for in-stock media items:

$6.49 for any quantity of in-stock vinyl, CDs, or cassettes.
If your order includes apparel or pre-orders, they will ship separately with their own flat-rate charge.

Do you ship in-stock and pre-order items separately?

Yes. In-stock items ship immediately, while pre-orders ship separately just before or on their release date. You won’t have to wait for your entire order to be available before receiving your in-stock items.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. 2-day Priority shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout).
