Private obsessions glinting on electric strings and magnetic tape, Taste stays underground by going over the moon. Taste is the solo project of Oli Lipton (Now, Cindy) born of countless after-hours time spent in his home studio and the hoarded recordings those efforts produced. 1/2 Fantasy, released via Tough Love, splits two previously self-released tapes down the middle, side by side, to form a debut LP of sorts. It's like summer wine and starshine on a night that lasts for years or just a few minutes.
