"Independence, " an improvisational work recorded in 1969 by the jazz group New Directions, featuring Masayuki Takayanagi on guitar, Motoharu Yoshizawa on bass, and Yoshisaburo Toyozumi on drums, is being reissued. The recording took place at Teichiku Kaikan Studio on September 18, 1969, over the course of approximately six hours beginning at 6:30 p.m.
