More Joy [LP]

With the breakout enthusiasm for the Cuticles debut LP, 'Major Works' back in 2023, Siltbreeze could hardly wait for a followup, & here it is. Entitled 'More Joy' it more than lives up to it's name. The ensuing years have seen some changes however; gone is Lisa Preston (Nux Vomica, The Portage) & in her place has come Albert King (keys 'n git) + vocalist & poly instrumentalist/whip snapper, Folina Vili. So the names have changed, but the attack is still rapid fire, gnarled pop corkers, 21 this time to be exact. Should you be totally unfamiliar, imagine an enlightened Dunedin Sound on Adderall; the chassis might resemble 80's Doublehappys or Goblin Mix, but that hemi'd combustion is firing straight up Cuticles 2026 horsepower. Warts & all, never looking back, 'More Joy' is roaring straight for thine skull & you could do worse than hop on & enjoy the ride. It's a doozy.
