Pre-Order: Nujje [LP]

Black Vinyl. Michael Beckett is a German-based musician, producer, and experimental artist whose work spans electronic music, noise, folk, and sound collage. Active since the early 1990s, he has performed with Tuesday Weld and The Schneider TM Experience, while releasing music under several aliases, including kptmichigan and Trip Shrubb. In 2021, Jan Jelinek's Faitiche label released Trewwer, Leud un Danz, a selection from Beckett's ambitious reinterpretation of all 84 recordings in Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music. Working with samplers, effects, and loops, Beckett has developed a practice rooted in experimentation, transformation, and the reimagining of existing musical traditions. His latest Trip Shrubb project, Nujje!, continues this approach with a reimagining of Neu!'s influential 1972 debut, released through PeaceLand Records.
