The Assembled Multitude was a studio group that did instrumental versions of hits from the late 60s and early 70s. They had a hit off of this album with their version of the Who's "Overture from Tommy". It reached # 16 on the Billboard charts. This album was originally issued in 1970 on Atco Records and is making it's CD debut.
