Where can I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, your tracking number is uploaded to your account. You can find it by visiting the Orders page at Accounts.paladinvinyl.com. You’ll also receive an automated email, but the account page is the most reliable place to find it 24/7.

I need to change my address, start a return or cancel an order.

Head over to Accounts.paladinvinyl.com. If your order hasn't hit the shipping floor yet, you can often make adjustments there instantly.

Preorders & Split Shipping

I haven’t received my order yet. Is it a preorder?

The most common reason for a "missing" order is that it contains a preorder item. We list the expected release date clearly on the product page. If that date hasn't arrived yet, the record is likely still being pressed.

When will my preorder ship?

We ship preorders as soon as the stock hits our hands. If your order contains both an in-stock item and a preorder, the whole shipment will wait until the preorder is ready so they can travel together.

Can I have my in-stock items shipped now and my preorders later?

To keep shipping costs low (and free for orders over $125), we ship orders as a single package. If you want your in-stock wax immediately, we recommend placing two separate orders.

What if the release date changes?

The vinyl world can be unpredictable. If a label or plant pushes a date back, we update the product page with the most current information. Check there for the latest status.

Shipping & Delivery

How do you ship your records?

We use reinforced, vinyl-specific Whiplash-style or Mighty Music mailers. We’ve seen what happens to records shipped in flimsy mailers, and we refuse to let that happen to your wax.

Standard shipping is via Media Mail. Check options at checkout for different delivery speeds.

How fast do you ship?

In-stock items are out the door within 1 to 5 business days. Apparel usually takes 7-8 business days to ship as they come from a different warehouse.

Does apparel ship at the same speed?

Not quite. Our apparel ships from a separate warehouse location and can take up to 7 days before a tracking number is generated.

Why hasn't my tracking updated in a few days?

We use Media Mail to keep your costs down. While reliable, the tracking can sometimes "ghost" for a few days while moving between major USPS hubs. Don't panic—it’s moving, the system is just catching up.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we are domestic (USA) only. We like to keep things local to ensure our shipping standards stay high.

What are your shipping rates?


Rates vary by product, but we generally offer flat-rate shipping. Orders over $125 ship free.

Inventory & Pricing

Why do I see the same record at two different prices?

We source from a variety of vendors, and they don't all charge us the same amount. We use a fixed markup to keep things fair. If we get a shipment at a lower cost, we pass those savings to you. Once those "cheaper" copies are gone, the remaining stock reflects a higher acquisition cost. Pro tip: Buy the cheaper version while it’s there.

How do I know if an item is actually in stock?

Our inventory is synced in real-time. If the "Add to Cart" button is live, we have it. We don't do "ghost stock."

Are your records new?

Everything we sell is new and unused. While most records are shrink-wrapped, some labels use reusable poly sleeves. If yours arrives in a sleeve, rest assured it is brand new and unplayed.

Returns & Quality Control

What if my record arrives damaged?

We’ve got you. If it's damaged, we’ll make it right. Please note that original shipping costs are only covered if you selected shipping protection at checkout.

What is your return policy for "change of mind"?


If you decide an album isn't for you, you can return it within 14 days. Note that "change of mind" returns incur a 15% restocking fee.

Subscriptions & Perks

When am I charged for my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed on the anniversary of your sign-up date. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime by visiting Accounts.paladinvinyl.com.

Is there a benefit to joining the newsletter?

Absolutely. Subscribers are the first to know about new releases, exclusives, and sale events.

Can I visit your shop in person?

We are online-only. We don't have physical racks for you to dig through, which is how we keep our overhead low and our shipping fast.
