Ain't We Brothers [CD]

Singing storyteller and songwriter Sam Gleaves gives voice to Appalachian traditions and contemporary history with his debut release, AIN’T WE BROTHERS. Produced by Grammy-winning folk powerhouse Cathy Fink, the record features Americana’s finest musicians and singers, including Tim O’Brien, Janis Ian, Laurie Lewis, Marcy Marxer, Tim Crouch, Russ Pahl, Missy Raines, Jeff Taylor, Donavan Cain, Tyler Hughes and Pat McInerny. Bittersweet country songs follow fiddle-and-banjo duets, stark ballads and activist anthems.
