With Cream of the Crop 2026, Irie Ites Records continues it's annual compilation series, established in 2022 as one of the label's key yearly releases.This new edition brings together a selection of the label's standout productions of the year, moving between roots reggae, rub-a-dub, digital sounds and sound system culture. The tracklist connects several generations of artists, including Prince Alla, King Kong, Norrisman, Micah Shemaiah, Jah Mason, Anthony B, King Lorenzo, Chezidek, Lutan Fyah, Midnight Riders, Junior Dread and Linval Thompson & Big Red.Several tracks had already started building strong momentum ahead of the compilation release, including Chezidek's Down Down Down, Micah Shemaiah's Hell A Go Pop and Jah Mason's Puff Puff Puff, while a number of new cuts complete the 2026 edition.The vinyl edition features 12 carefully selected vocal cuts.
