PRE-ORDER: Touching Is Punk [CD]

An assault of hyper-active arrangements, pop-punk'isms, sass-core screams, and buzzy synths blaring from a Nintendo DS. On a Venn Diagram, they exist in the overlap of hyperpop, pop-punk, and DIY weirdos. Touching Is Punk is a magical record that sounds as wild and original and odd as you'd imagine, and the band inject more emotion into these songs than seems possible for something made on a Nintendo DS. Though the foundation of these songs is spritely 8-bit sonics, the result is a catchy kind of avant-pop-punk that has a very human heart beating (and occasionally yelping and screaming) at it's core.We both typically have low self-esteem, but we'll bounce off each other and hype each other up. We're a lot stronger together. That is the essence of The Dallas Cowboys; as friends, as a band, as human beings. Mutual energy, passion and support is the main driver and inspiration for what they do. Touching Is Punk is the definitive version of the band's sound to date.
