PRE-ORDER: Super Tender [Vinyl]

Caroline Strickland’s debut LP for Born Losers Records captures a songwriter stepping fully into her own voice—raw, visceral, and completely unvarnished. Strickland’s sharp, intimate songwriting sits somewhere between the fierce vulnerability of PJ Harvey, the conversational bite of Liz Phair, and the poetic intensity of Patti Smith. Recorded with immediacy, the album was tracked in a single take, preserving every crack, swell, and moment of tension rather than sanding away the edges. It’s a record built on instinct: guitar-driven, emotionally charged, and alive in the room, with the feeling that anything could happen next.
