First released in 1972, Freddie King's Texas Cannonball follows the thread of his previous album, Getting Ready, but adding more of a rock feel. Widely considered a masterpiece in it's genre, it contains amazing instrumental solos, as well as some of King's best vocals since his legendary recordings from the 1950s and early 1960s. The album consists mostly of covers, featuring splendid versions of songs by Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, Leon Russell, and more. Available on 140g high-quality virgin vinyl.
